Definitely one of the best new albums I have heard this year. Just a total ripper, a guttural sonic attack! Warm Red, to my ears, are like a perfect blend of weirdo basement punk (Lumpy and the Dumpers, Coneheads, etc.) and loud 2010s post-punk noise rock bands like METZ and Pissed Jeans. szajewski_michael

All of Liiek’s album covers are incredibly compelling, and their take on post-punk is just as appealing. As much as I liked their first album, this follow up is much more cohesive, delivering a perfect amalgamation of melody and dissonance. Glad I was able to find a copy on vinyl. kel kontraire
